Privacy Notice
How FVR collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data, and how you can exercise your rights.
1Who we are
Fides Veritas Register INC., with offices at 7550 I-10 Ste 800, San Antonio, TX 78229, United States, is responsible for the processing of your personal data.
For any privacy-related matter: support@fvr.mx
2What we collect
From clients and their representatives: name, job title, email address, phone number, legal entity name, tax registration, registered address and the addresses of the sites to be audited, together with the legal documents you provide (tax status certificate, articles of incorporation, official ID of the legal representative, proof of address).
From auditors and certification personnel: name, contact details, photograph, academic background, training and certifications, work experience, record of audits performed, and the documents evidencing all of the above.
From anyone using the platform: IP address, date and time of each significant action, and the identity of the person who performed it.
Payment data: card payments are processed directly by our payment provider. We do not store card numbers.
Site usage measurement: we use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits and page views in aggregate, without cookies and without persistent identifiers. We do not use Google Analytics or any other tracking or profiling tool.
3Why we use it
Purposes necessary to provide the service:
- Preparing quotations and contracts, and carrying out the certification process.
- Planning and performing audits, and issuing the corresponding reports and certificates.
- Verifying the competence and impartiality of the personnel involved in your certification.
- Invoicing and collections.
- Keeping a record of who performed each action, when, and from which IP address. This is not optional: ISO/IEC 17021-1, the standard under which we operate, requires traceability of certification decisions.
- Handling complaints and appeals.
Additional purposes, which you may decline without affecting your service:
- Sending you information about our services and technical content.
To opt out of the additional purposes, write to support@fvr.mx.
4Who we share it with
We share personal data only where necessary, and with these categories of third parties:
Accreditation bodies. As an accredited certification body, our records — including those containing personal data of clients and auditors — are reviewed by the body that accredits us. That review is a condition for maintaining the validity of the certificates we issue, and therefore this transfer does not require your consent: it arises from compliance with a regulatory obligation.
Technology providers that operate our platform: hosting and infrastructure, database, transactional email delivery, electronic signature of documents, and payment processing. They act on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations.
Competent authorities, where a duly founded and substantiated request exists.
Some of these providers operate outside Mexico, so your data may be processed in other countries.
5Your rights and how to exercise them
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected where inaccurate, to request its deletion where you believe it is no longer required, and to object to its processing.
Send your request to support@fvr.mx, stating your name, a means of replying to you, a clear description of what you are requesting, and a document evidencing your identity. We will respond within a maximum of 20 business days.
One limit worth knowing: certain records cannot be deleted while a certification remains valid, nor during the retention period required of us by the standard, because they constitute the evidence supporting an issued certificate.
6How long we keep it
We keep data for the duration of the relationship and, thereafter, for as long as applicable regulatory and tax obligations and our management system's records-retention rules require. Records that support an issued certificate are kept for at least the full certification cycle. If you need the exact period that applies to your case, write to support@fvr.mx.
7Cookies
Our platform uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure access. The portal cannot function without them.
The public site sets no cookies. We use no analytics, advertising or profiling cookies, first- or third-party, so there is nothing to consent to and nothing to reject.
When a page loads, your browser does request resources from third parties which, by the way the web works, receive your IP address: Google Fonts (typefaces), Font Awesome (icons) and, only when you make a payment, Stripe. None of them receives your certification data from us.

Any change will be published at this same address. We recommend reviewing it periodically. The date shown at the top reflects the most recent revision.
Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to access without discrimination, the current state of WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, and how to report a barrier.
Our commitment
Fides Veritas Register INC. works to make its certification platform usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is part of our commitment to delivering certification services without discrimination.
Standard we follow
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the W3C, as our reference standard.
Current status: partial conformance
This platform has not yet been formally audited against WCAG 2.1 AA. We declare partial conformance: some content meets the guidelines and some does not, and we say below which is which.
We would rather report this precisely than claim a level of compliance we cannot yet demonstrate.
What already works
- Every image carrying information has alternative text.
- The language of each page is declared and follows the language the user selects (Spanish or English).
- About half of the portal's components are built on a library that implements keyboard navigation and accessible labelling natively.
- The platform is fully available in both Spanish and English.
Known limitations
These are the barriers we have identified and are working to remove:
- There is no link to skip directly to the main content. People navigating by keyboard or with a screen reader must move through the navigation on every page.
- Some form fields do not have a programmatically associated label. A screen reader may announce them without saying what information is expected.
- A visible focus indicator is not guaranteed on every element. When navigating by keyboard, on some screens it may not be clear which element you are on.
- Colour contrast has not been measured systematically.
- The platform has not been tested with screen readers, nor navigated end to end using the keyboard alone.
What we are doing about it
We have a staged plan: first limitations 1 and 2, which are Level A — the most basic requirement — then the focus indicator, and finally a full audit against WCAG 2.1 AA including screen reader testing and contrast measurement. This statement will be updated as we progress.
If you hit a barrier, tell us
If you cannot access any content or complete any process on our platform, we want to know and to help you right away.
- Email: support@fvr.mx
When you write, please tell us which page it happened on and what you were trying to do. We will acknowledge your message within 2 business days and give you an alternative way to complete your task while we remove the barrier.
Alternative means of access
Anything that can be done in the portal — checking the status of your certification, reviewing documents, scheduling an audit or downloading your certificate — can also be done by email or by phone with the help of our team. Write to support@fvr.mx and we will walk you through it.
Accommodations for personnel certification
If you are a candidate for a personnel certification and need an accommodation to sit your assessment — additional time, an alternative format, technical support or anything else — request it at support@fvr.mx before the date of your assessment. Accommodations are granted without lowering the standard required for certification.
Changes to this statement
We will publish updates at this same address as we make progress. The date shown at the top reflects the most recent revision.
